This is exactly why I don't work out at some of the higher-end athletic clubs in Fayetteville.. Such as Fayetteville Athletic Club for instance, my entire family worked out there for several years until we canceled our membership for a good year and a half, when we renewed the membership to FAC, we thought it would be the same old place.. But damn, I walk in and everyone was there in all of the fashionable gym-wear that you mentioned.. Then I realized that most of those people were just there to take part in socializing and think they're better than everyone else because they can spend $50 on a shirt they only wear at the gym.

They took the fun out of working out, so now I go to 24 Hour Fitness, it has that old-fashioned type of workout that you talked about, the people there aren't there to show off, they're there to use the gym for what it's made for, to work out.. It just shows that materialism is running rampant nowadays, and if people don't smarten up we'll be turning out exactly like one of your favorite flicks; "Idiocracy".. But hey, at least we'll both be long gone by the time this happens (hopefully)..

By the way, the basketball Hogs are 12-2! We're kicking ass! Keep on writing!
