The Same Old Monkey Business

June 24, 1925 – A jury in Tennessee finds John Thomas Scopes guilty of teaching evolution in a high school biology class.

Unfortunately, stupidity as a defense against the fact of evolution not only abounds in our nation more than eighty-five years after this embarrassing trial, but it also finds far too many ignorant people willing to champion its cause – see: Presidential candidates, Republican. These buffoons are intellectual criminals. Why?
