Adolph Stephan Friedrich Jentsch (1888-1977) was a German-born Namibian artist who traveled extensively in his adopted country and worked in both watercolor and oil. Jentsch is best-known for his starkly beautiful landscape paintings, and he stated that his interest in Oriental philosophy led him to be influenced by Chinese art.
